I'm a Software Engineer based in Tel Aviv, Israel. I specialize in Full Stack development, with hands-on experience in Computer Vision and Robotics — bringing ideas to life across both software and hardware.

A bit about me

Hi! I'm Ofir, a recent B.Sc. Computer Science graduate from the Holon Institute of Technology (HIT). My passion is building applications that combine elegant code with real-world impact.

During my studies, I worked on projects spanning full-stack web development, computer vision, and robotics — including 3D-printed humanoid eyes that track and recognize people, and a drone controlled entirely by hand gestures.

Before my degree, I served as a Team Leader and Aircraft Mechanic in the Israeli Air Force, where I learned to lead under pressure and solve complex technical problems. Today, I bring that same precision to my code.

I'm currently looking for an entry-level role where I can grow alongside experienced engineers and contribute to meaningful products.

Pilot a Tello drone using nothing but hand gestures detected through your webcam. The system processes live video, recognizes 6 distinct gestures using MediaPipe's hand-tracking model, and sends real-time flight commands — no remote control needed.
